We made it to ROCHESTER this evening! Today was such a great day! Woke up, had some of our favorite Egg Pancakes in the room for breakfast, (GaGa made for us!) and just chilled watching tv for a few hours in bed. Relaxing felt SO good! Walker and I went down to the pool for an hour and played water basketball together! So fun! I schooled him a few times in PIG! Then we hit the highway from the DELLS to our destination! Got settled into our room and ventured over to the hospital to see exactly where we need to be early tomorrow morning. That hospital is HUGE! We asked Walker what he wanted to do tonight before settling down to prepare for surgery. He chose another ESCAPE CHALLENGE. This time, the FRANKENSTEIN room. We may have needed a few hints, but we did make it out with 2 minutes to spare, a leg, head and doctor coat besides! What a fun thing to do together and keep our minds busy! And let me tell you....you HAVE to use your brains! It’s tough! Walker didn’t want to go out to dinner, so we stopped at Fresh Thyme Market and he picked out a few things to cook in our mini hotel kitchen. So here we sit watching our boy cook US dinner! After dinner he has to start fasting to prepare for his BIG DAY! We have to be up early and at the hospital by 7am! He was gurgling and choking in his sleep last night, so fingers crossed tonight is more restful. We are all in good spirits and ready to get this boy on the road to recovery! We’ve had a few hiccups but overall the last 2 days road tripping to Minnesota was so much fun!!!!! Thank you everyone for the kind words, messages and love! Truly unbelievable and making this so much easier!
