We’ve been on pins and needles awaiting the phone call to get this surgery scheduled! The surgeon himself called us, and I was so impressed. They decided to forgo the manometry procedure prior to surgery, as they don’t want him to go through that, and there were no appointments available anytime soon. Surgery is a week from Monday! We are ready to get it done and start healing! We are terrified, happy, and emotional but know he is in good hands. The surgeon has only done a handful of these procedures but says he is confident in taking on the case! If he feels confident, we are in trusting hands with him! We appreciate all the love, messages, meals, gift cards and flower bouquets! Everyone has been so amazing!!! Together we will get this boy well! #Walkerstrong On a side note, it’s been difficult finding things for a liquid diet. Tropical Smoothie has been a lifesaver with all their flavors and I found these cream cheese packs!! Score! Small wins are what is getting him through every hour!!!
