Post Surgery Appointment

Today was Walker’s 3 week post op appointment with the surgeon, Dr. Schneider. He couldn’t believe how well this boy is doing! His incision sites are healing perfectly, he’s tolerated all foods that he was allowed, has had ZERO choking, reflux, vomiting since surgery day. So....he’s been cleared to resume normal activity and begin testing regular foods!!! After 4️0 days on a liquid/puréed diet HE CAN EAT! 🙌🏼 He has gained 3 pounds back (with still a long way to go) but are so thrilled with his progress and we just keep our fingers crossed 🤞🏼 that he can live a well balanced normal life going forward! The ONE thing Walker wanted once he was cleared to eat was Old Chicago pizza 🍕 rolls! We enjoyed lunch together and tonight he gets to play ball ⚾️with his team!! Can’t wait to cheer him on!!! This kid continues to amaze us!!
