Sometimes things don’t go as planned, but Tropical smoothies, Puppies and an afternoon of family Fall 🍂Fun makes EVERYTHING BETTER. Feels good to all be together again, even if it is just for a week. ❤️
Happy Saturday! We made it home last night and it felt so good to see my family! Missed those boys! Walker & Bryce both had football games this morning. Walker had been pumped since Thursday once we knew we were coming home to play! When he woke up this morning, he was choking A LOT! It’s slowly getting worse, daily. We decided it was best to not go play in the cold. We don’t need to risk him getting sick with surgery being just a little over a week out. So jammies, Tropical smoothie, puppies and SpongeBob Squarepants it is! This kid went through so much this week, he needed to just ‘BE’ today! We ended up taking the family this afternoon to our favorite spot, POST FAMILY FARM, in Hudsonville to get our favorite warm glazed pumpkin donuts and enjoy some fall activities! Walker will be on an all liquid diet once again for probably a month post surgery, so getting him to enjoy all his favorite foods now while he can! The 23rd can’t come soon enough to get our boy on the road to recovery, but enjoying all being together for the time being. ❤️
