Well today was Walker’s Esophogram to determine what is causing his issues and severe weight loss. He has what is called Achalasia and is extremely rare. Only ONE in a MILLION children are diagnosed with this disease. The disease is a motility disorder of the esophagus that doesn't allow food or liquid to pass to his stomach. It is an autoimmune disease and we are heartbroken to hear this news. He has been put on a liquid diet for the weekend, and we are meeting with GI surgeon next Tuesday. My heart just breaks for what he’s about to endure, but know he’s a tough little boy. 💪🏼❤️
